Wild Dogs

The rich variety of life in the local environment is most apparent in the neighboring private nature Conservancy, just across the river from camp. Lemarti’s is closely involved with this Wildlife Foundation who helps conserve the rich biodiversity present in this area. We contribute to the organization’s work through the fees and donations which our guests pay when we take them on safari there. We also support an initiative in the area to conserve populations of African wild dogs, an endangered species which survives in this part of Laikipia.
